= Spain is having some financial promblems. Many investors are convinced Spain will need a bailout. Then Spain went and asked for 1000 billion Euro from the eurozone, even though their prime minister was afraid of taking this dramatic step. He did not want to take the dramatic step because he thought it would bring sovereignty and stigma. They then recieved 30 billion Euro for emergency funds. Spain actually needs 300 billion Euro to get through 2015.The European Central bank is helping Spain by buying them time. Even though the European Stability Mechanism can give Spain a loan it is dangerous because the loan could put them into more debt.
